It would provide ample access to joints, or material to create joints, an everyday and legal item consumed by many throughout Los Santos. 2. The cultivation process of Marijuana would provide a new and unique job experience never before seen in other jobs such as LSC, Bennys, or PDM. 3. The processing of raw Marijuana into Joints, Gummies, or bags of weed in accordance with the legal limit would provide a new type of experience. 4. Deliveries of raw, unprocessed Marijuana from grow houses will allow the chance for gangs/individuals to hit these transports, opening up roleplay for both the business to get around these hits and open up roleplay for criminals to hit these deliveries and benefit from it. 5. It would create a player-run weed store rather than a random store. All products will be grown, processed, and stocked by players. Business plan: (Your planned business activities, how your business will sustain its operations, operational costs, income streams and how you intend on paying your employees) Initial Process: Before the product reaches the storefront, there is a lengthy process of both cultivating and growing the marijuana. The marijuana will be grown within a locked, indoor warehouse with a hydroponic setup. This is to maintain that it stays out of reach of the general public, as to keep the business up to legal code. 'Grow Houses' will be rented or purchased, and fitted with the finest equipment to speed up the growing process. The first initial grow house that the company would look to purchase is located in Downtown, Vinewood. The cost of such an acquisition is left to be determined, though once the property is acquired the proper equipment and ventilation shall be installed. Delivery Process: Once the raw product has been properly bagged after its harvest, it is then loaded into a marked van, the marking on these vans is yet to be determined, but they will be marked as it will be easier to identify. These transports may be escorted by a small group of armed guards, all following the proper firearm laws permitted by the state. These guards may be necessary when the business has picked up traction and the amount of product being moved is a significant dollar value. They will be used to dissuade armed criminals from hitting these transports. Deliveries will be made from the grow house to the store, located in South Los Santos. Processing and Stocking of Storefront: Given that the delivery reaches the storefront intact, it will then be processed into THC Gummies, Joints, or Weed Bags of a legal amount. They will then be stocked in the store by workers and sold to customers. Costs, Incomes, and Sustainability: Costs: 1. There are a few operational costs that come along with this business. Payment for Marijuana plant seeds, compost, and farmers to maintain the grow house, at a rate of $3,500 P/H. 2. Equally, the upkeep of armed guards for transport will also be costly, at a rate of $7,500 per guard, per delivery. 3. Upkeep of storefront, and the purchase of materials for packaging marijuana, and roll joints. This is a variable cost and will increase/decrease due to demand. Incomes: 1. The income from the sale of Joints, THC Gummies, and Bags of weeds will provide the main source of income for the business. 2. Custom Orders for businesses such as paintballing, where joint usage is used as a form of healthcare, these orders will likely be few and far between. Sustainability: The pricing on items such as THC Gummies, Joints, and Bags of Weeds will have to be carefully calibrated to maintain that they meet street values, bringing the best value to our customers, whilst maximising profits for the business. Profits will be used to re-invest into Plant seeds, compost, and cultivation costs. It will also be used to pay salaries for employees. With the opening of a player-run food business such as the Bean Machine, it will provide several incentives and roleplay elements to the day to day of the server. These would include; Roleplay for buying and selling food. Roleplay with preparing and cooking food in the kitchen. A social hub for players to mingle. Host social events at the cafe. A new business that can be easily accessed by newer players as well. More reasoning to buy food from a certain location as opposed to a 24/7. With all these reasons combined I believe a successful business can be made from Bean Machine and be a benefit to the server as a whole. However profit is not the goal of the business. The goal of Bean Machine is to be a social hub to bring the community to. With its location in West Vinewood, it is close to multiple business and event locations such as LSC, Valhalla and Tequila-la-la. There is always traffic heading through the area so why not have a cafe where they can stop, have a bite to eat and socialize with others without the bother of interrupting other businesses workplaces. In light of above the income stream will be from my own pocket until the business is fully established. I will not make any money personally but any employees I hire will receive full payment from each transaction they do. Hopefully once fully realized a paycheck can be further added in. We would purchase these items from people from all aspects of the community, from civilians, government employees, and gangs alike. These items are accessible to the general public through multiple means and activities. There will be an upside to selling the items through Digital Den as there will be a slight increase in selling price and of course the opportunity to network and create business relationships with all aspects of the city. The items in question will then be broken down into Electrical Components and other materials which will be used by what we call “experts” that they will purchase in bulk from the Digital Den Enterprise and then used for whatever is required. Will reveal what can be made from these components in a meeting with the Department of Commerce. Digital Den will purchase the items at a higher value than the current Pawnshop prices. This creates interactions with Digital Den on a daily basis and if the store is closed due to no staff or for whatever reason they can choose to still sell to the Pawnshops at a lower value or hoard the items and do a big sale when the Digital Den store is open again. Digital Den will be operating at a low-profit margin, the main purpose of Digital Den is to create an alternate avenue for the community to sell us the goods they obtain within and around the city. It also allows us to dynamically change the prices of what we are paying for said goods up and down depending on supply and demand creating its own dynamic economy. Digital Den employees then have the ability via their job functionality to break down the above list of items into Electronic Components and a range of other materials via recycling them as per the lists above. The Electronic Components and other materials that come from this action will then be sold again to a special team of experts to research and develop new devices that can be further utilised within the city (more explanation to come on this part in a meeting with DoC). How your business will sustain its operations - Digital Den will sustain itself by reselling the electronic components and other materials that have been recycled from the list of items to the teams of experts. They will be resold to the experts in bulk that will be used for the research and development of new items that are not related to Digital Den and will not be liable for what the items are used to create. Cost per item will dynamically change daily/weekly based on supply and demand from the community, so if people do some research, they might hoard certain items to dump on the business while high vs those who just want to get a higher price than the Pawnshop at any given time. The distribution method to the experts will be driven by interactions with them, rather than trying to maximise units per day. The relationship between Digital Den and the experts is to maximise unique scenarios for tailored situations. How you intend on paying your employees - Employees will be paid hourly through profits generated by Digital Den reselling the broken-down components to the experts. Although other whitelisted jobs offer percentage-based pay as well as hourly rates, due to the complexity of managing a dynamic economy based on supply and demand we will be paying our employees an hourly fixed rate, as per below. (What development work would be necessary for the business to run perfectly if it was to become incorporated in the future) Most of what we are proposing already exists in the city, so there shouldn't be much construction work that is required to be done. With the objective of the Digital Den store being required to supply the experts with the materials they need to build devices, one device has already been researched, developed, and tested which currently has been imported from our oversea suppliers into the city. We can get these items, however, we do not have direct access to them and have to place a special order. Further work would be required to allow the production of the devices and instruments. We currently have patented recipes for 5 different devices that the experts can make, but will keep the patented blueprints in our secret underground facility!!!! We also have ideas to further produce new devices and instruments in the future. There are a lot of things that don't have a physical use like duck tape, hand saws, etc. that we would like to incorporate and put to use from the hardware store that can expand upon the current patent blueprints that we have. The idea is that these items could generate more cost per unit of production. We suggest running this business without the name and as an event once every few Months, and if it does get to a point where you have earned some development work we can potentially revisit this business idea. Essentially NRMA would deal with marked vehicle tows to impound lots or pick up vehicles to have them transported to the nearest mechanic business for repair. I feel currently Mechanic businesses are torn between doing tows OR repairs/modifications where the latter should be their main focus. NRMA would not be doing repairs (other than the potential of offering patch kits to customers for immediate convenience vs being towed to a mechanic business for a full repair during peak/busy times. Business plan: Using the old model of employees purchasing their tow truck from NRMA, allowing them to work when they want and purchase equipment via the NRMA store as per the old system for patch kits, fuel canisters, etc. With the addition of allowing NRMA managers to purchase NRMA flatbed trucks via PDM creating business between the two companies on a regular basis for new employees.
