a) He made the following appointments on the dates as specified below with 1 month probation, in accordance with the Law Enforcement (Powers & Responsibilities) Act 2018:

d) He approved the change in Command Level appointment tenures on the 17 Nov 2020. From 01 Jan 2021, officers appointed to Command Level ranks within SAPF, SAES and RMS will serve 1 month probation, for a tenure of 3 months, with the option to extend for another 3 months on review. There are no upper limits as to how many times can an appointment be extended.

e) The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court is to be concurrently appointed as the Lieutenant-Governor of San Andreas, assuming the office of the Governor of San Andreas in his/her absence.

f) Her Majesty The Queen has been pleased to approve that Sir Blake Sanderson KCVO be granted the title "Honourable" for life.

g) The Governor of San Andreas has cancelled the award of the Australian Police Medal made to Inspector Cutup Munroe.

h) The Office of Public Prosecutions will cease operations from 31 Dec 2020. The San Andreas Bar Association will assume all functions of the OPP.

i) The Administrative Tribunal of the Department of Justice will cease operations from 31 Dec 2020. The District Court of San Andreas will assume all functions of the Tribunal.

BRAVERY MEDAL (BM)

Inspector Luca Mendez BM
For an act of bravery in hazardous circumstance

On the 4th of December, an outlawed motorcycle club had kidnapped several Tactical Assault Command officers. Shortly after, the Police Force arrived with reinforcements and a large scale shootout ensued between the group and the Force. During the shootout, Inspector Luca Mendez noticed one of his fellow officers was restrained and exposed in the open between the cross fire. Having no regard for his own safety, Inspector Mendez sprinted towards his fellow officer while being fired upon and unrestrained his fellow officer before both officers proceeded to take cover afterwards. His selfless action that day saved the life of an officer.

MERITORIOUS AWARDS
AUSTRALIAN POLICE MEDAL (APM)

Commissioner Lucas SHAW APM
For service rendered to the Government of San Andreas as the Commissioner of Police

Commissioner Lucas Shaw joined the SAPF in June 2019. Throughout his service within the SAPF he had taken up a number of senior officer roles and special projects. He was recruited into the Highway Patrol Branch trial alongside other notable Highway Patrol officers to address the ongoing road fatality issues in the State. Under his leadership, his team has achieved initial operating capability within weeks. Ever since his assumption of office as the Commissioner of Police, he continues to improve the SAPF on the foundation laid by his predecessors with innovative ideas.

Deputy Commissioner Marlin ORKINS APM
For service rendered to the Government of San Andreas as the Deputy Commissioner of Police

Deputy Commissioner Orkins joined the SAPF in June 2019. As a career police officer, he had completed a full command tenure as an Inspector before his retirement into the SAPF Auxiliary, an office dedicated to retain skilled Command Level officers who have served an honourable tenure within the SAPF. He was recalled in September 2020 to serve as the Deputy Commissioner of Police by the Government to address a pressing issue within the SAPF. In his role as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, he has been working tirelessly with the Commissioner of Police to implement of new ideas and to address serious issues that arise from within the chain of command.

Inspector Frank COACH APM
For meritorious service in responsible positions

Inspector Frank Coach joined the SAPF in early 2020 and was a member of the new Highway Patrol Branch trial recruited to address the ongoing road fatality issues in the State. During his appointment within the Highway Patrol Branch, he had worked tirelessly with other members of the unit to produce working training programs. Through his own initiatives, he had provided effective strategies to combat traffic violations in the State. Prior to his recruitment in the Highway Patrol Branch, he was recognised for his efforts in the General Duties Division as an Officer of the Month and Officer of the Quarter. He had recently been promoted to the rank of Inspector and continues to remain as an important asset of the Highway Patrol Branch to this day.

For meritorious service in responsible positions

Senior Sergeant Taz Tarun joined the SAPF in April 2020 and was a member of the new Highway Patrol Branch trial recruited to address the ongoing road fatality issues in the State. During his appointment within the Highway Patrol Branch, he had worked tirelessly with other members of the unit to produce working training programs and strategies to combat traffic violations in the State. He remain as an important asset of the Highway Patrol Branch to this day.

AMBULANCE SERVICE MEDAL (ASM)

For service rendered to the State through the role of the Director of the San Andreas Emergency Services

Director Jason Stuarts joined the SAES in December 2019. Throughout his service within the SAES he had led the organisation in a number of command roles. As the Director of SAES, he was responsible for reinforcing the stability of the organisation upon the foundations built by his predecessors, namely Director Serena van der Woodsen ASM. His exceptional management skills throughout his tenure has resulted in a number of fine SAES High Command and Paramedics produced under his command.
